1 Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Borobhai.online (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform.

Borobhai.online is an alumni networking and career platform that connects students, graduates (alumni), and teachers within an academic community.

2 Eligibility & Accounts

To use Borobhai.online, you must:

• Be a current student, graduate, or teacher of a recognized institution.
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
• Select the correct account type (Student, Alumni, or Teacher).
• Be responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3 User Roles & Permissions

Borobhai.online supports three account types, each with different capabilities:

• Students can connect with seniors, view and apply to job opportunities, and share posts.
• Alumni can post job opportunities, mentor juniors, and share content.
• Teachers can share academic resources and research, and view posts and jobs, but cannot post job opportunities.

4 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Post false, misleading, harmful, or unlawful content.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other members of the community.
• Post fraudulent job listings or scam opportunities.
• Impersonate any person or institution.
• Upload viruses, malicious code, or attempt to breach our security.

5 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you post (posts, documents, research, comments). However, by posting on Borobhai.online, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content within the Platform.

You are solely responsible for the content you share, including theses, research papers, and job postings.

6 Job Postings & Applications

Alumni may post job opportunities. Borobhai.online does not guarantee the accuracy or legitimacy of any job posting and is not responsible for any outcome of job applications. Users should exercise their own judgment.

7 Third-Party Login

You may sign in using third-party services such as Google. By doing so, you authorize us to access basic profile information (name, email) from that service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. You may also delete your account at any time.

9 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
